We paid more then we usually do for our stay. But since the breakfast is included and I expected they would serve local artisan products from the agriturismo I booked the stay.
This place is overpriced, the breakfast was nothing special, dinner was also not worth coming for.
The staff is friendly and helpfull and the dining room charming and cosy.
OUR WEDDING DAY
Case Perrotta was simply amazing! They provided an excellent service throughout the ceremony and reception, from the decorations to the food, everything was fantastic. Valentina especially was so helpful throughout the months we were organising, and it wouldn’t have been such a brilliant day without her. Dinolfo was also an asset, and we couldn’t have done it without him, along with all the staff that truly made such a wonderful day for us. From the amazing atmosphere down to the quality of the food, everything was just perfect. We had an idea for our wedding in our minds and you made everything come true, we couldn't have asked for more. We would recommend Case Perrotta to anyone and everyone. Thank you so much for your collaboration and making it so easy for us, and for creating such an unforgettable day!
Normally I would give one star but the staff seemed to be friendly and helpful. This place absolutely need to be refurbished, everything is worn out, especially the bathroom. No shower cabine, instead a little dirty curtain from IKEA. The place itself is very charming, but please invest some money and give customers more comfort.
Clean rooms, comfortable beds but with no aircon and a very small window to let the breeze in. There was one table fan in the room and we managed to secure a second but we were still uncomfortable and were relieved to leave. This was middle of July (before the big heat arrived).
Food was decent. There wasn't much else in the immediate facility.
Everyone was polite but we didn't find it particularly welcoming.
This is a renovated old nunnery and has lots of charm. The room was comfortable though none of the plugs for the bath, basin or bidet fitted, good reason for always travelling with a universal plug. The greatest thing about our room though …
We had a fantastic three night stay. It is a very charming place with fantastic views of the ocean and Etna. Just sitting in the garden and enjoying a cup of coffee is a wonderful start to the day. |Everyone working here was very friendly …
This was a lovely farm-stay on the foothills of Mt Etna and an ideal location to see the glorious volcano. The rooms were large and spacious and the bathrooms functional. The original buildings have been well maintained an preserved so it very much feels like you are residing in history! The staff were wonderful and accommodating - they helped book a restaurant for Sunday lunch as well as helping us organise a private tour guide to help us climb up Mt Etna. The restaurant cooked traditional Sicilian food and made a real effort given we were all vegetarian. The gardens were extensive and our children happily played there for hours. All in all, highly recommended and especially if you are keen to immerse yourself in Mama Etna !
Unfortunately something changed since last time I went there (a few years ago): the food is good, don’t get me wrong, but they lost that magic that made me drive up there again. The portions are considerably downsized. The waitress not so patient and annoyingly sarcastic.
